It finally feels like fall season has started. At least here in Chicago, IL! We've been having unusually warm weather over here. But walking through university campus today, I felt a cool gush of wind blow through with a chill that makes one say 'uh huh, fall is here!'. My next thought was on color! While I love fall colors (yellow/brown/orange), I see them no where in sight this season. Not in fashion!
Many colors are in this season. Designers seem to be all over the map. But I did note a color pallet that's taking hold more than other colors. Many are embracing the deep hues of purple, pale blue, and all shades of grey. The designers at the top are setting the tone for everyone else. Runway shows of Burberry, Oscar de la Renta, Philip Lim are governed by rich purple color! Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Dior runways were lit up by pale blues. And finally you see grey all over the map.
Focus on color this fall, you won't go wrong no matter what you buy or for how much you buy it! Remember, there are always ways to get more for less!
